All About The Sun:
The Sun represents the core of our self expression. Its position in the zodiac at the exact time of birth is the first (and for many of us) the only astrological position we consider. The position of the sun reveals how our inner light shines- how we seek to project ourselves upon, and influence our family, friends, and society. The Sun represents the experiences that make us believe in ourselves. The position of the Sun at birth also determines how we create, not only artistically, but also how we have fun and how we experience pleasure for ourselves and also those around us. The Sun symbolizes childhood and youth, those times when everything and anything seems possible, as long as we (like the sun) just keep it moving! On the other hand, such self confidence also has its short comings. The Sun may lead to egocentricity that can blind us to the interests and experience of others and unwittingly for the best of reasons, we may ride roughshod over people and do harm. We may become blind to our own achievements and our own best interests and start to accept failure to easily. As art becomes great by being constantly reassessed, so we need some touchstone against which to measure what we do.
